aether9 presented a live online performance before an audience in the rupert goldsworthy gallery in Berlin.

The wireless building of a mass mind, controlling aether9 agents …amongst Berliners unaware.
Aether9 presents an interpretation of Fritz Lang’s Doktor Mabuse streaming from a taxi speeding through Berlin.

Live performance in the frame of Trans-Sesiones, at Museo de Arte Moderno, Medellín, Colombia.

Maratón de improvisación visual remoto. AETHER9 , aceptó unirse a este ejercicio de improvisación y experimentación durante las 5 horas que durará el JAM.

Este ejercicio de improvisación visual en streaming contará con la participación de por lo menos 14 video artistas que transmitirán desde lugares remotos en vivo (estando simultáneamente 8 artistas alternándose).

Una pantalla subdividida en 9 fragmentos , cada uno recibe la señal de algun lugar distinto en simultánea, interactuando entre si. La pantalla ubicada en el centro corresponderá a la transmisión que haremos desde Medellín, el JAM en curso con el audio correspondiente.

La señal video vendrá desde : Amsterdam, Mumbay (India), Berlin, Ginebra, Honkamäki (una colina de pinos en Finlandia), Yorba Linda (California), New York, Bruselas, Teheran, Colorado, Beirut, Split (Croacia en simultánea con la clausura del Festival VIDEOVORTEX )

Fourth iteration of the “Little Red Riding Hood” adaptation, premiered in April 2008 at Festival de la Imagen in Manizales, Colombia. Then at Mapping Festival (Suisse), and Tenderpixel Gallery (London).

SUMMARY:The Little Red Riding Hood tale fragmented for a twenty first century mind, one that detects a storyline from multi-sourced information streams, part cubist, part 3D chess, but coherently set in human, ancient, primordial mind.

Wolf, an “anyman”, seeks a role-playing Little Red Riding Hood among cyber sex chat girls. A journey into the psychological landscape of the classical tale, a cipher of Aging, Sex, Death, Desire, Violence, Secrecy, Beauty and Decay.

AETHER workshop jam. Lucy Diving Mask1

AETHER LRRH PERFORMANCE. Inspired in Little Red Riding Hood story, the group of aethernautes did performe again, this time transmitting live, a free interpretation of this famous and original story by Charles Perrault. The performance toked place in Alianza Francesa, as part of Festival de la Imagen. This transmision have been also watched from others computers around the net in the link normally use by AETHER to transmit.

Event: N3krozoft Ltd micro exhibition
Location: Maison d’Art Actuel des Chartreux (MAAC), Brussels (B)

The opening programme consisted in a lecture about the noble art of patching, alongside with the Grimm Brothers tale “The Girl Without Hands”, narrated by storyteller Deirdre Foster and accompanied visually by the Æther Group, an international remote performance ensemble whose members participated from locations in California, Colombia, Europe and Iran.
