The wireless building of a mass mind, controlling aether9 agents …amongst Berliners unaware.
Aether9 presents an interpretation of Fritz Lang’s Doktor Mabuse streaming from a taxi speeding through Berlin.

Aether9 participation at ASEUM, Manila, Philippines

On July 21-25, 2009, SABAW Media Art Kitchen (Philippines) in cooperation with KIBLA MMC (Slovenia) and the Asia-Europe Foundation brought together the largest delegation of new media artists at ASEUM – the first international new media art festival in the Philippines.

Live performance in the frame of Trans-Sesiones, at Museo de Arte Moderno, Medellín, Colombia.

Maratón de improvisación visual remoto. AETHER9 , aceptó unirse a este ejercicio de improvisación y experimentación durante las 5 horas que durará el JAM.

Este ejercicio de improvisación visual en streaming contará con la participación de por lo menos 14 video artistas que transmitirán desde lugares remotos en vivo (estando simultáneamente 8 artistas alternándose).

Una pantalla subdividida en 9 fragmentos , cada uno recibe la señal de algun lugar distinto en simultánea, interactuando entre si. La pantalla ubicada en el centro corresponderá a la transmisión que haremos desde Medellín, el JAM en curso con el audio correspondiente.

La señal video vendrá desde : Amsterdam, Mumbay (India), Berlin, Ginebra, Honkamäki (una colina de pinos en Finlandia), Yorba Linda (California), New York, Bruselas, Teheran, Colorado, Beirut, Split (Croacia en simultánea con la clausura del Festival VIDEOVORTEX )

Born 1982 in Leipzig and currently based in Berlin. 2001/2002 one year stay in Reykjavìk Iceland.
Trained in performance art at HEAD Geneva under La Ribot and Yan Duyvendak, in fine art at Muthesius academy of art and design Kiel.
In her work she focuses on the discrepance between on-line analog and on-site digital world, of individual and society.
Mainly working with video, photography, graphics and installation, applying those disciplines in a way of performative research.
She has joined the æther9 collective in 2008.
